When you email us we collect the data that you wish to share.

What Information Do We Collect From You?

What we have already indicated; personal information which might include your name, telephone number, address, email address, IP address and information regarding what
pages were accessed and when. If you attend a children’s activity, you will supply us with the name of the child in your care. When the child is 13 years of age, we will accept personal data directly from them.

COMMENTS:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA:

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Only those members of the church with whom you have contact, for example the Leaders of Castle Street Church and/or Leaders of Noah’s Ark Toddler’s Group who have access to attendee information in case we need to contact you in the event of an emergency. Members and regular worshippers share their contact details but we will always ask you if you wish to be included in the process. We will not sell or rent your information with third parties, nor will we share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. If there is ever the need to pass your information to a third party we will always ask your permission before doing so. As an example, we may know someone that could assist you with a personal or particular problem. We will ask you first if you wish us to speak to them on your behalf, or to give you their contact details.

How Can I Access Information You Hold About Me?

The accuracy of your information is important to us. If you change any of your contact details, please tell us. We will give you a copy of our Personal Details Form which holds the details of what we know. When you complete the form with the new details and hand it back to a Leader, your details will be updated immediately.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have left comments on our Website, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
